Accelerated ReaderNash-Rocky Mount Public Schools have combined their lists so that all of the K-8 schools will have access to over 100,000 tests. We also have the individual AR notebooks for schools in Nash and Edgecombe county.

To find what books are on the Nash-Rocky Mount Public Schools list you can go to their website at:

*Unfortunately the library does not have AR quiz testing*

Our mission is to connect children, youths, and their parents and care- givers with the best books and most reliable information possible...and to do it with a smile. Here you will find books to satisfy both recreational needs as well as the typical demands of school homework assignments.

Computer resources and learning tools include Internet, word processing, and story computers to enjoy in the library and CD-ROMs to check out.

While at the library, children may enjoy 30 of their favorite magazines and play with the puppets and puzzles. In addition, you will find children's music and storytellers on cassette, audio books, and children's videos and DVDs for learning and fun.

Regularly scheduled story times are offered throughout the week, special programs announced throughout the year, with school visits and special groups accommodated as time and scheduling permits.
